Who We Are: Established in 2020, the Environment and Community Development Embed (ENCODE) is a research-based, environmentally conscious, and human welfare-oriented development organization, founded on the core philosophy of “community development through a healthy natural environment.” At the heart of ENCODE’s approach is the responsible, science-driven, and renewable use of biodiversity and natural resources, aimed at improving people’s livelihoods and overall well-being. Aligning its initiatives with Bangladesh Government’s National Priority Targets (NPTs), local realities, international environmental agreements, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ENCODE is committed to implementing an integrated development model that delivers large-scale, coordinated environmental and socially beneficial programs to promote sustainable development for both people and nature.

২০২০ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত, পরিবেশ ও জনসমষ্টি উন্নয়ন সংযোগ (এনকোড/ENCODE) একটি গবেষণাভিত্তিক, পরিবেশবান্ধব ও মানবকল্যাণমুখী উন্নয়ন সংস্থা, যা “সুস্থ প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশের মাধ্যমে জনসমাজ উন্নয়ন” এই মূল দর্শনকে কেন্দ্র করে প্রতিষ্ঠিত। সংস্থার কার্যধারার কেন্দ্রবিন্দুতে রয়েছে জীবসম্পদ ও প্রাকৃতিক সম্পদের দায়িত্বশীল, বিজ্ঞানভিত্তিক ও পুনর্নবীকরণযোগ্য ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করা, যার মাধ্যমে মানুষের জীবন-জীবিকা উন্নয়ন করা সম্ভব। বাংলাদেশ সরকারের জাতীয় উন্নয়ন পরিকল্পনা (NPTs), স্থানীয় অঞ্চলের বিশেষ বাস্তবতা, আন্তর্জাতিক পরিবেশ চুক্তি এবং জাতিসংঘ ঘোষিত SDGs–এর সাথে সামঞ্জস্য রেখে এনকোড একটি সমন্বিত উন্নয়ন মডেল বাস্তবায়নে, বৃহৎ পরিসরে সমন্বিত পরিবেশ এবং মানব কল্যাণধর্মী সামাজিক কার্যক্রম পরিচালনায় প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।
